Last year a neighbor called the police on my girlfriend and I while we were argueing. By the time they showed up, we had more or less stopped. I had not struck her and no arrest was made. They took down our information for a report, however. I have not heard anything about it since. This occurred in New York State. I am concerned about this showing up on a background check. I am a medical student. Will this affect my chances of getting a liscence and are there any measures I can take to remedy the situation?

As long as they only took a report and no arrest was made, there is nothing that would show on a background check. No worries.
