A store owner had...

A store owner had a promotional raffle exclusively for customers that paid money into his shady online slot machines. My ticket was drawn as winner but was not notified . His employee actually used my winnings in a drug deal. I went to store to discuss the issue with owner, he wouldn’t face me but we talked on phone. I invested over 1000$ to win raffle . He tells me he not paying me anything and that I should get paid by his ex employee. Can I sue him for fraud or theft or false advertising? Or illegal online slots scam?

Can I sue the shady store owner ?the online slot service he provides May be illegal. For every 20$spent on his online gambling, a raffle ticket was put into the pot. Yes I put over 1000$ into the online slots and was never able to cash out that either

It was advertised in store . Every entry was dropped into jar at same time credits were purchased. That the winner would be notified by phone. The prize of a large speaker,boom box,karaoke ,club lighting system. Idk the actual value. His employee kept the prize then traded it in a personal drug deal.When I told the store owner two days ago about the details, he told me that that employee doesn't work for him anymore and that I should f**k off. I was expecting any more suitable response from him. Him telling me that it's just another slap in the face

I see. Sure, you can file a lawsuit against the business in small claims court alleging misrepresentation or something like that. You better have some evidence though - which includes evidence you won.
