I took out a loan with Tuition Options to pay for some

This answer was rated:

I took out a loan with Tuition Options to pay for some courses from the Online Trading Academy (OTA.) The FTC has filed a lawsuit against OTA saying that they need to stop operations cannot collect on loans related to their programs but the loan company keeps calling me.
JA: Because consumer protection law varies from place to place, can you tell me what state this is in?
Customer: The lawsuit was filed in CA but I live in CO
JA: Have you contacted the seller or manufacturer?
Customer: I am asking about the validity of a law suit.
JA: Anything else you want the Lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: No.

Hello: My name is Damien and I am an attorney.

Are you saying that the OTA loaned you money to take their courses? Or did you borrow money from a separate lender?

There is currently an FTC (Federal Trade Commission) lawsuit against OTA. I am enclosing the case. Section 3 states that there is a prohibition against the collection of loan payments for any loan owed by any corporate defendant.

The loan was offered by Tuition Options who was the loan provider OTA recommended.

They sent me an email asking about this month's payment. I responded via email asking if this lawsuit applies to them. They have not yet responded but I am getting calls asking for paymet.
