Same type question. I was just told I won $950,000. But just like the other American Promotion Company. I am being told this money needs to be registered with the US government, which will cost 1% or $9500. I will have to pay this money to register the $950,000 with the US GOVERNMENT before the funds can be released to me. Is this legit?I

I don't understand the question. I just got done talking to someone who said he was the chief financial officer of American Sweepstakes Network. He told me this less than 30 minutes ago. Is it true that you have to register money with the US GOVERNMENT. Does the government charge a fee?

Nope, it is a scam... period.. You never have to pay anything to claim a prize if you actually won something in a lottery or sweepstakes as any taxes are deducted prior to disbursement.. And if you never entered any sweepstakes or lottery...that is another big red flag.. And if you got notice via email or text...another big scam red flag.. And if they want you to pay by some untraceable source like Western Union, Money Gram, Money Pak, gift cards, etc....another big red flag of a scam..

So if you send them any money, you will lose it to these criminal scammers..
