I changed break pads and...
I changed break pads and rotors on my car, but didn`t fasten very well one of the caliper bolt. So it fell off and caliber swang and pulled out the axel. I noticed oil drip. With this problem I came to the car service to get it fixed. I was told that they took the axel out, cleaned it and put it back same axel with new sealing. They also said that the car was tested for driving and it was nice and smooth ride. In about three weeks check engine and track off signal lighted up. I scheduled an appointment right away. When I got back to service on 02/08 they told me that I had the same problem the axel popped out and transmission oil was leaking again and in addition my transmission was broken. Now I need a new transmission and new axel.I tried to talk to the service manager and offered to split payment in half because they failed but I got denied.I filed complain regards ***** ***** case to State of Alaska Department of Law. (You can see that topic above). Kendall Auto Service Re:
“Dear Customer,
The Sienna was brought in to our facility on January 9 th of 2018 for an oil leak in front. It was determined at that time that the driver front drive axle was removed when an unrelated entity (non-Kendall) replaced the front brake pads. Upon inspection, we found the bottom of the vehicle soaked in oil from the left front axle seal, and the left front brake caliper was lodged or jammed into left front wheel. We proceeded to clean off as much residual as we could, replaced the left front axle seal, installed a new banjo bolt (fluide can flow through) on the left front caliper and tested it on the technician’s lift for fluid leaks. At this time, we did not note any substantial leak(s) and returned the vehicle to you.
You returned the vehicle on February 8 th to report of a check engine light on. We noted trouble codes relating to transmission slippage as the seal replaced 2,673 miles prior had leakage around it and had allowed for the transmission to become dangerously low on fluid. At this time, we noted that the seal was still intact, but the driver side differential bearing was loose and wobbling causing the axle to move excessively, causing transmission case damage (hairline cracking).
You stated (this is the lie I change brake pads by my self and didn’t touch the axel (have no idea how to do it) that you and a friend had removed the driver side front axle and replaced the brake pads just prior to bringing in your vehicle on January 9 th. Unfortunately, this attempted repair damaged the front axle and caused the leak and subsequent failure of the differential assembly. We did what we could on January 9 th, but the major damage had already occurred, but was not fully visible at the time.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>I think that the Kendall mechanic try to put the axle and broken transmission or they did something wrong.

Yes, it sounds like the kendall mechanic did do something wrong, so you can sue them for negligence and get a recovery for the amount of your damages that you suffered as a result of the faulty workmanship of the Kendall mechanic.
