Customer Question

this question is for the moderator. why do insurance companies that sell medicare advantage plans send a nurse to the insured's home to do a mini physical on the insured.
i'm not looking for an answer such as; they just want to see what state of health your in.
i may sound paranoid but, i think there is an alterior motive to find a reason to screen you out.

Thank you for your question. I look forward to working with you to provide you the information you are seeking for educational purposes only.
Actually, it is not to just check their health, they send out a nurse to do an examination to make sure what you reported to the insurer is truthful and that you qualify for coverage under the terms of the policy. So yes, it is to screen people to determine if they should be insured or not and that is the only reason.
