I purchased a used recreational vehicle for about 45,000

Customer Question

I purchased a used recreational vehicle for about 45,000 dollars and put
a 500 dollar deposit on vehicle.I am to pick up vehicle and pay balance in about 10
days. Purchase was from reputable dealer and they did nothing wrong. I have
simply changed my mind about vehicle and would like to know if I can legally back out of deal!

Unfortunately, there is no general right to cancel a vehicle purchase. The cancellation would be a breach of contract and you could be sued for the damages stemming from that breach. Though, if the dealer sells it to someone else for at least the same price then there are no damages to sue you for.

I am sorry. I wish I could tell you otherwise.
