I just purchased a 2010 vehicle today and on the way home

Customer Question

I just purchased a 2010 vehicle today and on the way home the brakes almost failed twice. Can I call the dealer and ask for my money back? Also, can I stop payment on the check and credit card?
JA: We have a 30 day refund policy so you can simply email***@******.*** and they will try to fix your problem or refund your money. What state is this in? And when did the issue begin?
Customer: It is in New York, and on the ride home from the dealer to my home in
JA: Have you contacted the manufacturer?
Customer: Not yet - the car was a used car.
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not that I can think of at this moment

I will try and help. When you purchased this car, did it have a window sticker that said it had a warranty or had another box that said no warranty?

Please let me know and I will try and help.
