I recently took an 11 day tour with Webb Tours. My luggage was lost prior to our destination in Ireland and never did arrive during that tour. I have filed a claim with Delta and am wondering what Webb tours may be obligated to compensate me. Dave Webb's tour guide refused to speak with the people at the Dublin airport (said she would call them later?) They did not want to talk to me as I did not have the info they needed. Apparently she never did file a lost baggage claim. ( I had a phone call from London about 10 days after I arrived home, where my suit case was the whole time) I took this tour because I am not a seasoned traveler and planned on help with any potential problems.
Dave Webb indicates he may pay me something when he hears what Delta reimburses me.
(That is another can of worms.) The tour dates were Aug 1-11-2016.

I am sorry to read about your difficulties.

Webb Tours would be responsible for paying for your damages that are not covered/paid by Delta Airlines because they were supposed to be facilitators of the tour, but failed in their responsibilities. So, you can hold them accountable for your loss since it appears that they made things worse by not being helpful and cooperative when you needed them the most.
