My company replaced a concrete garage floor. When sawing

Customer Question

My company replaced a concrete garage floor. When sawing crack control joints in the new floor, chipping on the edges occurred, some fairly large ones, about the diameter of a lead pencil. The customer is now demanding I repair them, which I don't mind, but he is telling me HOW to repair them. I have a contract that states I repair at my discretion. He owes me 2/3's of the total. My contract also states no repairs to be made until balance is paid in full. What are my rights, how to proceed.

Does the customer's request for the repair diverge dramatically from how you would do it?

Also, how long since the floor was completed?
