In 2011 I had a judgment against me on a Capital One credit

Customer Question

In 2011 I had a judgment against me on a Capital One credit card. I was taken to court and they garnished my wages for over two years, a total of 2600.00 dollars. The garnishments stopped and 8 to 11 months later the law office sent me a letter stating, I still had a balance or owed more money on the garnishment and last week they drained my account on my life savings and left me penniless. Is that legal?
