I re a First Data Credit Card Terminal. I was paying $ 41.00

I hire a First Data Credit Card Terminal.
I was paying $ 41.00 by mounth, but i just use the terminal 2 times.
So, e return the terminal to them, and i put a stop payment of this fee.
On 09/09 they take from my account 1,400.00 referent a termination fee.
Can i recover this money ?

Dear Customer,

I am sorry to learn of this situation. Unfortunately most of these data terminals include a stiff cancellation penalty in their contract. Carefully review the paperwork (contract) that you signed with them when you first agreed to the plan and see if there is any cancellation policy in there.

If there is a cancellation charge, they can charge you whatever fee is included in the contract.

If there is no cancellation charge in the contract, they cannot charge you any cancellation fee at all, and you can demand a refund.
