Then it is not your car. Do you have title in your possession?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
but the tow and storage charges are billed to me, and if the car is sold i am responsable for the difference
Expert:  Loren replied 2 years ago.
Do you have the title in your possession.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
No, but the buyer never sent in the title either
Expert:  Loren replied 2 years ago.
Have you notified the DMV that the car has been sold? They should allow by affidavit or lost title application.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
no that is the problem
Expert:  Loren replied 2 years ago.
Contact the DMV that the car was sold and the title lost.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
After we notify DMV that the car was sold, who is responible for the tow and storage bills? After 120 hours the car is declared abandoned and goes on the auction block, if they don't get enough to cover the bills , as I liable for the balance?
Expert:  Loren replied 2 years ago.
Unfortunately, if you never changed title you will be responsible.
