What's my recourse? Bought a one year old Porsche 911 from

Customer Question

What's my recourse? Bought a one year old Porsche 911 from a BMW dealer. My wife asked if it had any accidents. Salesman and Mgr both said it's perfect. She asked to see a carfax - on the screen it only showed a $500 repair, but did not say accident. This is 12/2012 when it happened. Went to Porsche to trade it in - said accident on carfax 8 months before we bought it. Offered 14k less because of this. Ouch! Your thoughts?

Hello and welcome! My name is ***** ***** I will try my level best to help with your situation or get you to someone who can.
Can you tell me what state this is in?
Are you saying that Carfax later reclassified the "repair" as an "accident"?
Or was there a second accident that didn't show up on the original Carfax?
If there was a second accident, do you have reason to think the dealer knew about it and concealed it?
