We've had a number of people on here asking about that specific one, unfortunately most of them are asking after they have sent money and received nothing in return.

If I am not mistaken this one used to be run out of Jamaica or was using operators with Jamaican accents but the scammers change phone numbers and locations pretty regularly to avoid getting caught.

They usually want you to pay via Green Dot Moneycard, MoneyPak, or Western Union, since once they get the money from these sources it can't be reversed.

The mark of a scam is they want you to send money ahead of time. No legitimate prize or contest does that.

Sometimes they say it's for fees, sometimes for taxes, etc. but it doesn't work like that.
