If you agreed to the supplies and informed them that your HMO may not cover the costs this does not relieve you of liability for the costs of the supplies. Had you told them not to send the supplies until they verified the insurance would pay, then you would have a possible argument that you could raise. But, the botXXXXX XXXXXne is that you ordered them and you are responsible since you used the supplies and did not return them. The FL statute of limitations on these debts is 5 years from the date it was due.
