Yes, I would agree the swivel joint is the place to start. That is exactly where I would begin checking.
Below are the instructions for the removal. Installation is just reversing the procedure.
Be sure to mark the position of the inner and outer parts so you will install the lines properly and mark all lines. This is CRITICAL for oil flow in the swivel joint.
If you make a mistake, the flow will be wrong and the levers will not work correctly.

Remove the cap from the tank. Unless the machine is on a hill, the lines won't have much pressure. Just loosen the lines slowly and any pressure left will release without any risk of it spraying oil.
It will leak a lot of oil even after draining the tank. It is a best practice to always seal off all open lines and ports. Use plastic plugs or towels to keep the dirt out of the lines and out of the systems.
