Sorry to hear you're having these troubles with this machine overheating. Check and make sure that you can see light all the way through the radiator core and it is not restricted preventing air to pass through. If you cannot see light through the core than air can pass either. Be sure to verify that your cooling level is topped off an operating range and the cooling system will pass a pressure test. If this checks out okay, I would then suggest that possibly the cooling fan is not coming on when it should or possibly not turning at the proper RPM if there is a problem with the hydraulic motor or hydraulic system part of the circuit. If there are no hydraulic problems, I suspect that you have a problem most likely with your temperature sensor within that circuit or wiring not commanding the fan On when it should. The other potential concern is a problem with software calibration that would require Caterpillar electronic technician to be connected to this machine in order to do any potential software updates that may exist if this is a calibration related issue or also to monitor all of the other parameters within your cooling system for more in-depth troubleshooting if no problems are found with the wiring or sensor, or possibly with the hydraulic motor and solenoid for your fan circuit.I hope you find this information helpful.
