Will the engine spin if you follow the positive battery cable to the starter solenoid, and jump the cable to the single wire switch terminal on the same solenoid? Test of battery, cables and starter.

the problem started when in use i was going fwd an it just quit.then i killed it an it won t do anything
We have to get it running before diagnosing the F/R issue. Is battery voltage above 12.5 volts? Cables clean and tight?

curtis i tried to call but didn t go thru.but i can not get to the solenoid to jump it.but the problem was that it is like it is in gear an or the emergency break is not on.it was running when it happened to not go fwd or rev it was still running at that point till i cut the key off

i understand what you r saying but i don t have a meter to check the voltage mine is broken.i have tryed to jume it off with the truck an same thing
Jumping the solenoid bypasses all the safety and the neutral switch. So if it will not jump, battery, cables or starter problem. You say you can't get to it! Ok, can you find the neutral switch? Let me see if I can find its location. Likley in the shifter.

Yes, and the neutral switch is likely part of the shifter. Parts book does not even show it.
