I'm not getting any power to my buttons on my keyless pad to my bobcat mini excavator model 341. 233212586 is the
JA: What is the complete model and serial number of your machine?
Customer: ###-##-####is the serial#
JA: Are you fixing this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have not done anything yet. I was wondering if it could be a relay switch. The light on the keyless panel for battery ect comes on but the button for code entry , start and stop doesnt work.
JA: Anything else you want the Equipment Mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I can start the machine by disconnecting the fuel relay lever and jumping it from the solenoid. When I do this everything runs accordingly except that I cannot use my thumb on my bucket because the button to activate it is on my key pad.

Test your battery and charging system with a digital battery tester for possible bad cells or other internal problems with your battery and also your charging system.Be sure to check all cables and connections, including all grounds. Test for power on both sides of each of your fuses with the ignition switch in the on position replacing any fuse with power only on one side. Utilize the parts link that I have provided for your model and serial number to access all of your opponent locations within the ignition circuit and power circuit for your machine. If your control panel has power and ground but is not responding properly, it is an indication of an internal problem with the control panel itself or a software related issue once you have confirmed that the wiring harness and connector pins all check out okay and are free from any corrosion or damage. Swap your relays one at a time with a known good one for testing purposes. It is a pleasure to help and when I can.

If the wiring and connector pins check good, the problem could very well be software related requiring the dealer to plug in with their diagnostic software and update the software. It could also be a problem with the digital keypad itself that would still need programming and set up. Any heavy equipment salvage network would put parts on a locator for you. Programming and set up would still be needed from the dealer.
