Where is the water valve located to turn cab heat on in a cat 262b skid steer, 262b, Yes i am a ase master auto tech.

Hello,

The only valve on these machines is in the heater box. To service the box it must be removed so it can be disassembled.

See the attached image for the normal heater water lines.

I did find an option location if this was a field installed heater. They appear to connect at the back of the head.

Either way, the shutoff (if equipped) would be on the cylinder hear (pressure side) and most were at the thermostat housing.

The return line goes to the radiator tank.
