Hello,
The only valve on these machines is in the heater box. To service the box it must be removed so it can be disassembled.
I did find an option location if this was a field installed heater. They appear to connect at the back of the head.
Either way, the shutoff (if equipped) would be on the cylinder hear (pressure side) and most were at the thermostat housing.
The return line goes to the radiator tank.
