Hello! Let's see if we can work together and come to a satisfactory conclusion!

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 8 months ago.

If you have good fuel flow to the injection pump and nothing coming out, the only thing that will cause this is the fuel shutoff solenoid not opening the injection passage. Do you have battery voltage to the fuel shutoff? Did new pump come with new solenoid?

Rebuilt injection pump from Kobelco. Can there be air in the pump?
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 8 months ago.

Air should have already been purged, is the kill solenoid working? If you loosen the high pressure lines at the injectors and get no fuel when cranking, the fuel shutoff is suspect!

I will check this in the morning.lam sure there's no electrical wires running to the injection pump

Would the shut off be located somewhere else?
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 8 months ago.

Engine kills with switch, so it has to have means of turning fuel on and off!

It will be right at the injection pump, or in the housing in proximity of it, so the plunger can move the fuel linkage inside the injection pump.
