JA: Are you fixing this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: no but the universal joints need repair when i do the fan belt

Not sure the question.? With fan belt going around the pump drive shaft, the drive shaft has to be removed. The adjustment and loosening point for the fan belt is the alternator. Loosen alternator adjustment strap, to loosen the belt, flip the belt off the pulleys, remove the front drive shaft, which you say needs repair anyway, and pull out the shaft and belt.??
