Battery voltage is not fully charged, should be over 13 volts! But this can be a safety switch killing the starter circuit. Seat switch , and neutral switch?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Do I need a new battery? Also, the DW tech came about 2wks ago and jumped the main fuse because it was burned out, would that affect this issue? Sweat switch looks intact, where's neutral switch?

I'm a slow typist Dan

Battery may be good, just low , charging system may not be charging. Not sure where neutral switch would, may be like brake switch. What do you have to do in normal startup ? Hold brake? Sit in seat? All controls have to be off, and transmission out of gear.

Curtis, could I call you or vice verse? I'm SLOW at typing

Call is extra charge, and we can continue here at no extra charge.??

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok, there is a seat switch, seat belt switch, transmission switch and trencher switch, they are all green at start up. Normally turn key and all lights illuminate then go right out, the oil light with 2inward arrows stays on a split second more then goes out. Starts INSTANTLY! Yesterday, all lights illuminate, turn key all the way and click nothing except a beep
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Oil light with two inward arrows stays lit and there is an intermittent alarm
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
As of yesterday

Start with jumping battery or charging battery, to see if just low battery voltage!

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Tried a jump, nothing
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I believe it's some type of switch? Would the jump make up for low amps?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Just bought new main fuse to put back in
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

If you follow the posiitve battery cable to the starter solenoid and jump the battery terminal to the single switch terminal on the same solenoid, will engine spin? It should ,if battery, cables, starter solenoid and starter are good.

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

That would make it a safety switch not making.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I'll have to try in a bit, I ran out for fuses. Are you saying jump off starter solenoid?
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

No, i'm saying use short jumper wire and jump the existing wires to see if all systems are go!
