I have no reference to the earlier question, but from my limited experience, your's sounds to be fuel starvation. I would always run a test line direct from the inlet of the fuel transfer pump, into a separate fuel container, bypassing the complete suction system. If it runs correctly , you know it is before the transfer pump.
