Bob Dyer here I have and old 941 cat loader that has set

Customer Question

Customer: Bob Dyer here I have and old 941 cat loader that has set years and won't start but has fuel and hot battery....It ran well before being left idle... It turned rapidly and suddenly stopped turning.......the starter checks good....We took off the starter and turned the flywheel with a bar and it will only turn 180 degrees ?????
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: It turned rapidly and never fired before it hung had lots of fuel and oil stick checked ok.....An old Cat mechanic said he thought the oil had to circulat in engine before fuel would go to the injector pump....Any ideas will be appreciated!!!!!
JA: OK got it. Last thing — JustAnswer charges a fee (generally around $54) to post your type of question to Heavy Equipment Experts (you only pay if satisfied). There are a couple customers ahead of you. Are you willing to wait a bit?

Hi I'm Wayne

I will help you with this

what you are explaining sounds as if you have water or oil

on piston tops, causing a hydraulic lock

I suggest you remove the injectors, and spin engine over

see if oil/water pushes out injector port

I hope this helped you
