terex tlb 840 will not crowed back. Have removed pin from leaver and rod will not go down in valve bank. It will dump but will not crowed back. It was operating normally then not.

On the bottom of the valve, where the spool is, will be a removable cover. Under this cover is the return spring and detents. Remove this cover and you will find problem. Broken spring or rust causing spool to stick.
