VerifiedYes, if you have the remote shift control on the hydraulic control lever (One multi-axis lever and one single axis lever).
It can interfere with the shift operation.
(Two inputs at the same time will confuse the ecm.)
I had this issue on a 924H and had to disconnect the joystick for a temporary repair. You must also disconnect the code plug for this feature to turn it off. (At least on the 924H. It is buried in the dash.)
Also, test the neutralizer switch. If it is sticking, the controls will work but, the transmission will not engage.
Use the neutralizer switch to turn this feature off and test operation to see if problem is still present.
