I have a 2003 CAT 303 mini excavator lent it to my brother, this morning he calls me and says it won't start, I went over. turn the key on everything light up wait for glow plug light to go out hear a relay click and that's it. also when key is on I hear a humor buzz sound coming from behind me somewhere. also would like to know how locate the starter

remove battery cables, take a PIC of wiring so you know how to put back on
remove alternator , to get better access,
use long extension bar to get at starter bolts,
have another person help
there is a panel under the seat to get at starter

try cleaning the connections, battery also
also jump the starter post key on, battery stud to small stud

we got it opened tapped on the solenoid and it started to turn over so I will order a solenoid tomorrow.
