Hi my name is XXXXX XXXXX I use the ingersol brand guns. The 1/2 gun is okay for small bolts, but with heavy equipment your going to need to upgrade to a 3/4 or 1 inch gun for doing wheels, engine mounts, transmision, mounts. I guess what I am trying to say is this field everything is usally siezed or torqued higher than a 1/2 gun will handle. For the 1 inch gun chicago puenamic is fine, the 3/4 I also use the ingersol, Let me go to my service truckand I will give you the numbers. I will send info in a few minutes, thanks Dan.

Hi again, so presently my 1 inch gun is a CP894 and I have been very happy with that one. My 1/2 gun is a Ingersoll-Rand 2135TiMAX and it is the quiet version. This gun also has been reliable source when needed. My 3/4 gun is a Ingersoll Rand 2145QiMax, and it is okay all of these need a 1/2 air supply and oil to perform well. I should also mention I used the Snap on 1/2 IM51 previously and loved it. It does seem the Ingersoll versions have more power and I definetly wouldn't purchase a reman or used gun. I have never had good results from these. Presently I most commonly use these with the combination of the snap on Cordless 3/8 and 1/2 impact guns. I highly recomend these for all around use since there isn't hoses dangling or in your way. I will use the air guns when the bolts are to tight for these guns. I hope that will help, Thanks.
