Customer: Hi. You answered my dump trailer question a few days ago. I thought I'd see if you know anything about skid steers. My husband left something on in our 1993 Mustang 940 Skid Steer and it ran down the battery. He took it out and charged it. When he put it back in, it still wouldn't start. He said that part of the copper screw on the solenoid where the + battery cable hooks on broke off with the nut and there wasn't enough screw left to get another nut on. The cable was still attached. He said he pulled on the screw and it was loose. Is this probably why it won't start? Can we get and put on a new screw or will we have to get a new solenoid? Does the starter have to come out to put a new solenoid on?

I ask because there are times when certain loaders have accesories and things added that can be in the way.

Ok, thats not much at all.
