yes the d7 with the regular blade will indeed move the clay
it might be a slow process depending how packed the clay is if it had a ripper blade on the back it would speed up the process

we have limited room and would like to make one big pile so the excavator can sit on stock

you can pile it up as high as you like and aas big as you want
the part in the back you want is a ripper three tyne would be good its kinda like the furrel you pull behind a farm tractor to make rows if you know what i mean
three tyne means there are three arms with three blades all three are controlled together by hydraulics
once you start piling you can pack it down by running over it with the d7
it is a heavy machine
