It sounds like you need some help with your Epson WorkForce 3640 printer, and a 0x97 error code.
Unfortunately, that error is often fatal for the printer. Epson support will tell you its a hardware failure.
There are some steps you can try though, is to go throughly through the machine and make sure there isn't any paper jammed.

Also, try removing all the ink tanks, and then unplugging the printer from power for half an hour.
Then plug it in, and see if that cleared the error.
