I have been trying to install Norton anti virus and got stuck. having trouble to create centruly link id for Norton online backup

Technician's Assistant: Which Norton product do you have?

I don't know. need more help than i am getting.

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your Norton software?

I called Friday to get century link at ease. Learned that I had infection and needed to upgrade to anti virus protection and to help clear up infection. Told to upgrade to advance which I did today. Have been trying to follow on line instructions but something happened when trying to do one of the steps regarding Norton onine backup

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Software Expert to know before I connect you?

The phone number on my account is the old land line number I had wchih now I only have cell phone. Finally realized they wanted that old number.

I am getting the run around. Every new site wants more money. I just used my credit card to get an it specialist 7 days for $5 and $46 a month after that if I don't cancel in 7 days. This is very frustrating and I may have to quit CenturyLink if I can't get some real help.

No. I'm going to call CenturyLink again..this is too much to ask of someone that needs help in the first place. Why can't I just talk to someone on the phone like I used to
