Hi Pearl. I took some photos to place items on bidding wars and when I go to open photos it comes on the screen for about 2 second then closes.Cant get into it to download photos. Also got a message saying google chrome did not shut down properly.

Its a HP about 2 years old and windows 8

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your HP? Have you installed any updates recently?

Shut it down twice and pulled the battery out as it froze and could not do anything. Installed new Norton security about 2 wks ago, but the problem only started today

The problem is that at times when I am in usually google or Facebook, it will freeze and I will have to hit the home screen and then get back in to the app. At other times it will just completely shut off. Yesterday at 8:00 a.m., the phone was completely charged. I used it to look up some directions (about 5 minutes, was in car), and the battery went down to 74%. Looked up something else which took about 7 minutes and the battery went down to 43%. WAited awhile and started to answer a text and it went to 10% and shut down. I plugged it in and about 1 minute later turned the phone on while it was still plugged in and it showed 53%! It goes up and down on the battery % sporadically.
