My HD HD Kindle Fire 7 is locked up in Family mood, cannot get out,, I'm 84 yrs young and dont need or want.

Turned it on , pressed search,, unreconizable lite blu screen, ht search, daark blu screen with keyboard , ht CANCEL,,, went back to lt blu screen again.

Please try to restart your kindle once by Press and hold, or slide and hold, the Power button for a full 40 seconds, even after the screen goes blank, then let go. Press or slide the power button to restart if the device does not start up again on its own.Let me know if it works for you.

Kindle is STILL in "lite blue screen"-- "child mood".

I powered down the device (Kindle Fire HD 7), (as advised by your previous expert), and the device is still in "Family/Child protective mood". I want it out , back to normal.
