My asus will only go to blue screen that says " Enter Password " when its never done that before

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your computer? What have you tried so far?

I got it from a friend for my daughter and she forgot the password ***** thing i know it boots strait to blue screen and asking for password ***** its never done that.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Computer Expert to know before I connect you?

Wont boot from usb, cd/dvd ,wont go to safe mode or f1,f9, wont do anything
