I have Dell inspiron...

I have Dell inspiron 15, 300 series which has Windows 10. When I set up my account under Hartley Smith I used a password ***** I have forgotten. I cannot go beyond the start up window that asks for password. Hope you can help me.

Technician's Assistant: Have you tried rebooting from a DVD or flash drive?

I do not have a DVD or flash card for that Dell computer.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Computer Expert to know before I connect you?

I went to Microsoft website "account.live.com/password/reset" but they gave me a new password ***** the computer I was working on whic is not the Dell computer. This is a very old Toshiba with XP. I need a new password ***** the Dell computer.
