I recently bought a new laptop. When I was going through the setup I tried to use my same account I had on my old laptop. MS win 10 would not accept that. I tried to establish a new account and now I seem to be having problems. Please help me!

Technician's Assistant: What's the brand/model of your laptop?

Dell Inspiron 3 7000 series.

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your Inspiron? Have you installed any updates recently?

It won't allow me to because it won't recognize my new account and says I can't use my old account because its already in use. I would love it if I could just sign on with my old account (*****@******.***) and get on with my life.
