After the restart it said could not start and gives 3 options...to turn off, advanced etc but it just keeps doing the same over and over if tried

keep the power button on laptop pressed for 10 secs

then plug in battery and power cord and turn on laptop

if you get the screen with 3 options select advanced and let me know

in system restore window select a date maybe a week back and follow onscreen prompts to complete the restore

let me know that after restore does it boot back to desktop normally or goes in the reboot loop

we need to try a reset of the pc.

in order to do so, restart the computer and then select advanced options and from next screen select reset pc option

you will get to options 1. to remove everything and 2. to keep files

select the keep files option

this will reset the pc however you might have to reinstall the softwares that are missing

thanks for sharing the pic ..this error could come up due to either a driver issue or a bcd file corruption

since the computer is running in a loop, we would need to repair\reinstall the windows 10 system with a windows 10 disc

did the computer come installed with windows 10 or you upgraded from an earlier version of windows

in that case since your data is backed up on the cloud we can try a full reset first followed by one key recovery

however if both fail, then we would have to reinstall windows with a windows 10 disc

please restart computer and and then select advanced options and from next screen select reset pc option

this time select first option to remove files and reset

you would need a windows 10 operating system disc
