Byron, You are working for a fraud. I just got my Ideapad 3 hours ago and have trouble connecting my router. Good old Andy sends me I've to Just Answer to suck more money out of me. Your documentation is non-existent, but for a fee Lenovo will be glad to help me. I'm not a rocket scientist but I can follow I instructions. If I have to return this computer, I will do so , along with Letter to my Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division and the Better Business Bureau. Your choice.

configuring my brand new Lenovo laptop. Got to internet connection, located wi-fi connection for my 4 other devices, entered the security and came back incorrect. I took the key from my smartphone. It was rejected 10 times before I gave up. You can't take control of m device without the connectivity, so I suppose the $39 fee is irrelevant \and should be returned. What about the $22 help?

From the router.It's a 16 digit alphanumeric password,. Is this the security key?

What version of Windows is it running

AND

is it connected to the Wi-Fi (not connected to your router with a network cable)

The desktop is Windows 7. The new Lenovo is Windows 10. The desktop is connected by cable to the router.

To get the info requested I had to unplug the router. It is back up and running.

Thank you. The WPA2 key is your wireless password/security key.

Use that on the Lenovo.

It is also case sensitive, so enter it exactly as you see it printed on the label.
