IDT High Definition CODEC not functioning, can't load drivers

Technician's Assistant: What's the brand, model, and Operating System (OS) of your computer?

Lenovo laptop g710, windows 10

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your G710?

Automatic recovery, ran Lenovo on-line diagnosis, no change

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Computer Expert to know before I connect you?

Removed drivers and reinstalled from Drive "D". No luck so uninstalled the device and reinstalled it - still no luck. The diagnosis report states that the device is not responding. Current situation; no audio.
