I keep getting messages...

I keep getting messages that y "Microsoft" needs to be updated and i have no idea what my passwords is. I was just sent a temporary "code" now I can't find my earlier message.Obviously I a neophyte.

My whole computer has been reworked and is more or less a hand made set .

I have been trying to retrieve my Microsoft password ***** by the time they send me a code, the site has timed out.

That is what we have been trying and it times out before we get the code to enter
