Technician's Assistant: What's the brand, model, and Operating System (OS) of your computer?

ASUS M32 with AMD 10-7800 CPU

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your computer?

Sfc /scannow, memory check, disk check. My PC keeps freezing intermittently and I am supposed to go into BIOS and under Advanced go to CPU configuration and disable the C1E function and the Intel C-state. Page not the same for AMD CPU

I signed up for trial and need answer to my question. My ASUS keeps freezing. I can boot up but then nothing happens when I click on any icon in taskbar. Cannot go to browser, etc.

Well yesterday I did hard reset of my PC and for most of today I had no problem. One time when I came back to the PC I found it not responding. At least it was only once today. However, I don't think the problem is fixed. I have done troubleshooting all my system, hardware, etc and everything is showing ok. Malwarebytes did not find any problems.

My computer is freezing intermittently and I have to do a manual restart to get it to work again. It has been happening several times a day. PC boots up ok but sometimes nothing I click on in taskbar does not respond. Cannot click on browser and bring it up can't click on start button and bring up programs. Absolutely nothing happens. Then when I do the manual restart it will work. Allows me to go on internet, and browse, etc. But then maybe when I come back to computer later it will not respond again. I have had days when I have had to manually restart 4 or 5 times.

I did a second hard reset to put power settings to default. So far today no freezing. But doing that a couple days ago still allowed an instance of freezing.

I did not do a Windows 10 reset but a ASUS hard reset where I turned off and removed power, held the power button down for 60 seconds and plugged power cord back in and restarted the PC.

I just did a factory reset a couple weeks ago and spent two days reinstalling my programs. Don't need to do that again.
