Hello Pearl. To make this as short as poss. Yesterday I had lots of problems with my computer which ended up with it needing a new monitor. In the process it was thought there was a short affecting my homeline. Optus offered to transfer all my calls to my mobile, which was very much appreciated. However now they could go direct now. But now I cannot send texts. I am 84 years old and would appreciate some simple help

Customer: My computer is HP, my phone is iphone 6 and the new modem is a Netgear.
JA: Who makes your router, and what device(s) are you connecting to it?
Customer: I think NETGEAR IS THE BRAND AND i HAVE MY hEWLETT pACKA

HOW TO SWITCH CALL DIVERT OFF

From your Home Phone

  1. Lift the receiver and wait for dial tone
  2. Dial #78 from your Home Phone.
  3. Listen for 2 short beeps to confirm removal of the diversion.
  4. Replace the receiver

# is the hash key located beneath the number 9 on most keypads.
