Hi my sound driver disappeared when i downloaded an intel upgrade.

Lenovo 120s 141ap windows 64 bit

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your computer?

I've tried to fix with windows troubleshooter but no sound driver is registered on my laptop

  1. Open Device Manager
  2. Click Audio
  3. Right Click the device and click update drivers
  4. If it is not shown then look for any device not installed in the list, right click and select Update driver

  1. Open Control Panel
  2. Go to uninstall programs
  3. Select view installed updates
  4. Uninstall the last windows update

The last update was the 12th of January. The sound has been working since then

Go to Device Manager, Uninstall the audio driver. Restart the computer and install it again

I've just found a possible driver on the Lenovo site: Realtek Audio Driver for Windows 10 (64-bit) - 120S-11IAP Winbook, 120S-14IAP Winbook

I'm in Australia. I don't want to be calling US numbers. If I get a double dip i'll never use the service again and will inform VISA. Sorry about that.
