Technician's Assistant: The Computer Technician will be able to walk you through that. How long has this been going on with your computer? What have you tried so far?

Every so often the computer goes into an update mode. It did it today when I was in the middle of a document. :(( It will go on with the white dots circling on the screen for hours. After about 6 hours I shut it off and started it again. It was working then it said that I did not have the latest Windows 10 update and I should get that. I tried and got the error message
