I can't get games, but am stuck with an ad that never goes away

Technician's Assistant: What exactly is frozen or not starting up for you?

I can get a game which claims to load, but stalls with an ad that never closes and replays

Technician's Assistant: What's the brand and model of your computer? And the Operating System (OS)?

Dell and Windows 10

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your computer? What have you tried so far?

For about 10 minutes. I have tried closing the ad and restarting the games. This ad is a facebook video for paper plates and shows up on the 6 games that I have tried.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Software Expert to know before I connect you?
