I have a new modem and no longer get my own account page to come on automatically and no info I type in (name, e-mail address) is recognized

Technician's Assistant: How's your internet connection? Are you checking your email from a browser or a mail client (e.g. Outlook)?

Internet works fine. I check gmail by using the Gmail-inBox on the top bar of my computer (a Mac) where Apple also is.

Technician's Assistant: Are there any antivirus or firewall settings that could block you from receiving mail?

No.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?

The problem is not E-mail. It's accessing my page, getting my wish list etc.
