I HAVE A DELL LAPTOP, WINDOWS 10, + XEROX PE 16 WORKCENTRE;

Technician's Assistant: What Dell model do you have?

INSPIRON 15; THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH IT. XEROX PE 16 HAS NO BACK-UP ANY MORE. GREAT MACHINE PERFECT CONDITION. ALSO HP SCANJET 4850 AND TWO WEEKS AGO THEY DISCONTINUED THEIR BACK-UP FOR THIS AS WELL. IT MAKES ME CRY TO THINK THAT I HAVE TO BUY TWO NEW EXPENSIVE UNITS THAT I REALLY CANNOT AFFORD TODAY.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?

BOTH THE HP SCANJET 4850 AND XEROX PE 16 ARE IN PERFECT WORKING CONDITION. HP AND XEROX HAVE LIFTED THEIR SUPPORT FOR THESE 2 MODELS SINCE THE DELL LAPTOP NW HAS WINDOWS 10.

COMPUTER DOES NOT RECOGNIZE OR OPERATE BOTH DEVICES ANY MORE. LOCAL TECHNICIANS SAY THAT THIS IS A FACT NOW. THE COMPANIES WANT TO MAKE PEOPLE LIKE ME, BUY NEW MODELS, SO THEY STOP THEIR SUPPORT.
